Can anyone help me Carp Fishing?

I just brought all the equipment to begin fishing carp (canes, Rod Pods, bivouac, Alarms Bight), but no weight Line Hooks Etc.), but I never caught carp before and thought a change in fishing. So Can anyone help me with the establishment of the stem as this type of line and the weight of it and I need something that hooks that what weights and how to configure it. or someone Can tell me a good website witch shows me how to do that. thank you very much in advance

Line type - Get monofilament is inexpensive, solid and works everywhere. Something around 14 or 15 lb test will do. This is normally what I use. Hook - I found that size 2 baitholder hook works best for carp. I use these packs of cheap little $ 2 each at Wal Mart. I think the brand is the fact renegade. You should find a package. They usually have them in stock all the time. Sinkers / weights - I usually split plans due water moves slowly, the simplicity of the take / remove, and because I did not need an enormous weight when the dumpling on my hook is quite heavy. I suppose if fishing with a fishing pole heavy or fast moving water that you use sliding sinkers. Here is a very good Site for beginners fishing for carp - http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/Carp-Fishing-Articles/Beginners_Carp_Guide_1. html
