Trabucco Diamond Fluorocarbon

Much has been written about the new breed of fluorocarbon lines. They've been popular with the fly fishermen for a few years now, but have been very slow to catch on with the freshwater angler. That might be about to change. If you're not familiar with fluorocarbon, it's supposed to be almost invisible to fish. In the past the lines have seemed to be very thick and very stiff for their breaking strains, and match anglers have kept with their low diameter, low stretch lines. This is most definitely different. It's softish, thinish (0.145mm = 4.43lb B.S.), and very expensive (£7.99 / 50 metres) .... BUT it could be the biggest breakthrough in lines for many, many years. Until we get a talking fish, we'll never know if it's invisible, but it looks good to me, and is worth a try. Spool contains 50m line.
