| The Vespe pole elastication system is used by many of this country's top pole anglers. It consists of a bung that is cut to the size of your pole, a winder that attaches to the bung, and a retracting rod to retrieve said bung from up the inside of the pole. It's very neat, with no bits of thick nylon hanging from the end of the section, but the beauty of it is the little winder that attaches to the bung, that is used to adjust the tension of the elastic. Never again will you have to fish with a few inches of elastic hanging from the tip of the pole, simply retrieve the bung, wind a couple of turns of elastic around the winder, and hey presto...you're fishing again.
